FAQs

If there is uncertainty over the amount or value of coverage I have or the carriers are insolvent, why would GRC want to purchase my claims?

Fundamental to our investment strategy is risk management and diversification. By accumulating positions against a wide array of insurers across a broad spectrum of coverage layers and claim situations, GRC seeks to reduce volatility of expected returns.

We also believe that significant economies of scale can be achieved by investing in the global infrastructure necessary to systematically and efficiently value and purchase and settle insurance claims.

GRC is "patient capital" and we recognize that our long-term investment horizon is one of our greatest assets as it changes the dynamics at play with insurers who attempt to outlast policyholders who desire an efficient, fair settlement and resolution to their historic, but unresolved claims recoverable and IBNR.
